In this episode of The Relatable Homeschoolers we are talking about homeschooling schedules and rhythms. We discuss the difference between and the defining characteristics of each. We also share what each of us tends to lean towards, resources we like and use, and how not to overplan whether you use a schedule, a rhythm, or both.
Another topic we discuss is what you do if your homeschool schedule or rhythm is no longer working. Harmony shares how she gets buy-in from her girls. While they don’t have full control over the schedule or order of subjects, she lets them give input on what they do, and often, that leads to better attitudes because they helped in the planning.
