Episode 5: Homeschooling as a Working Parent

Homeschooling as a Working Parent

Do you find yourself homeschooling as a working parent? Perhaps you are curious about how parents can both work and homeschool their children. It probably sounds impossible, and if homeschooling looked like traditional schooling, it likely would be. But homeschooling is inherently flexible, thank goodness.

Three of the four hosts of The Relatable Homeschoolers are moms who work (in addition to homeschooling). Harmony works from home full-time in a corporate job. Annie lives on and runs a farm in addition to being a pastor and bakery chef at her local grocery. Lindsay owns a flower farm, and in her non-floral season, she makes and sells elderberry syrup to her local community.

Homeschooling looks different for all of us. There are a variety of ways you can make homeschooling work even as a working parent. In this episode, we show you how it looks for us. If you are pondering homeschooling but unsure you can do it as a working mom, please listen and be encouraged.
